Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM course is a 3 to 4-year diploma in paramedics. Nursing and Midwifery focuses on the provision of care to individuals, families, and communities. The course can be pursued after successful completion of the 10+2 level of education in the Science stream from a recognized educational Board, with a minimum aggregate score of 40%.
GNM nursing course usually involves the compulsory completion of a 6-month internship in the discipline as well. This professional, job-oriented course in education lasts 3 to 4 years, with the duration varying across institutes. The course may also be availed of on a part-time basis in certain institutes of the country.

Eligibility : 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks at the qualifying examination. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of School(NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However science is preferable.10+2 with English having 40% marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.10+2 with English having 40% marks in vocational stream – health care science from a recognized CBSE board / State/ Centre.Registered ANM with pass mark.Minimum age is 17 years to be completed on 31st December of the year of admission. Upper limit is 35 years. 5% of total marks relaxed for SC / ST candidates.Any other reservation as per the State Government under the Reservation Policy.
